Let’s explore the clever design strategies that made this puzzle game a success…

Deterministic Puzzles
The game contains time-constrained puzzles that remain consistent across retries. Most of the time, these puzzles appear challenging and seemingly impossible to solve at a glance, but as the players try to solve, they become more and more capable of finishing. However as players reach that end, the timer often runs out, urging them to retry with a determination to avoid previous mistakes. Additionally, the game also introduces new variations of puzzle pieces to keep the gameplay engaging and fresh, while ensuring a well-paced difficulty curve.

Visual Appeal
The puzzle blocks of the game resembles Lego pieces, leveraging their universal familiarity to attract a wide audience while making the gameplay instantly relatable and intuitive for new users. In addition, the game also features an innovative and highly effective booster called the ‘Color Vacuum’, which boasts a visually striking and immensely satisfying animation when used. These thoughtful and impactful details significantly enhance the game’s aesthetic appeal, keeping players immersed.

Balanced Monetization
The game employs a balanced monetization approach, seamlessly blending ads and IAPs to enhance the revenue while maintaining player satisfaction. Ads are thoughtfully delayed until players reach level 15, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience free from interruptions. After introduction, RV ads allow players to double level completion rewards by choice, while interstitials appear between levels. The IAPs offer high-value bundles designed to address common player pain points, such as acquiring boosters, additional lives or soft currency. These thoughtfully curated rewards make purchases feel genuinely worthwhile, enhancing both the gameplay experience and player engagement.
