Jelly Busters is a sort puzzle game by Moon Active, released in January 2026, and it has already scaled to nearly $250K in daily IAP revenue, according to AppMagic.

This is currently the best-performing title from Moon Active’s growing hybrid casual portfolio and ranks as the 4th highest-grossing sort puzzle game by IAP revenue over the last 30 days.
Here’s a closer look at its design, progression, and monetization.
Proven Design
The game follows almost the exact core loop of Pixel Flow, but wraps it in a different theme: colorful jellies designed to create a more satisfying, ASMR-like feel. Unlike Yarn Loop, which replaced pixels with yarn, this theme isn’t a major departure from the original, but the overall execution feels more polished.
While Deterministic puzzles, appealing artworks, and dexterity-based swapping are all carried over from the original, Jelly Busters adds systems such as pre-level boosters and win streaks that weren’t present there.
Rich Progression
New mechanics are introduced fairly quickly, including boosters, blockers, pre-level boosters, and win streaks. The level map even previews the design of upcoming levels, adding another layer of anticipation. Difficulty labels help set player expectations, while harder levels appear relatively later compared to many other hybrid casual puzzles. The game also hints at upcoming meta layers. For now, it features a leaderboard with friend-invite functionality, alongside LiveOps systems that are gradually introduced as players progress.
Hybrid Monetization
The game combines both IAA and IAP monetization. Interstitial ads begin appearing around level 19, while RV ads are used for level reward multipliers and life refills. On the IAP side, the game features a rich in-game shop with multiple bundles and soft currency packs, alongside a premium pass, No Ads bundles, and time-limited offers such as piggy banks, endless offers, and starter packs. Additionally, the fail and life-refill screens feature multiple IAP offers, while booster purchases and revives are tied to soft currency, further nudging players toward IAPs.
