Loop Sort

Loop Sort is a sort puzzle game by Voodoo, released in September 2025, and it is currently generating $50K+ in daily IAP revenue, according to AppMagic,

Let’s take a look at the design behind this sort puzzler.

Visual Appeal
The game lets players sort small cubes using a conveyor belt, following the growing loop sort puzzle trend. The movement of these colored cubes in small segments creates a satisfying looping effect that resembles flowing liquid, making the game’s visual presentation one of its biggest strengths. However, this visual style also introduces some trade-offs, as the continuous movement of multiple cubes can make it harder to precisely time slot switches while also increasing the waiting time between actions.

Progression Layer
Compared to recent hybrid casual puzzle games, this game leans more toward the casual side, featuring a higher level of polish and a lighter meta layer. Still, it follows the typical formula of deterministic levels, hard level labels, boosters, and gradually introduced gameplay mechanics, although new features are introduced at a relatively slow pace. LiveOps systems appear early, including daily and weekly missions, rewards, and passes. Additionally, the game includes a colorblind accessibility option in the settings.

Hybrid Monetization
The game uses both IAA and IAP monetization. Interstitial ads begin after Level 21, while RV ads are primarily used for reward multipliers, life refills, and free daily shop rewards. Watching the level-end reward multiplier ad is also encouraged through daily missions. On the IAP side, monetization starts very early with limited-time offers, endless offers, and an ad removal offer that appears as interstitial ads begin. The in-game shop also features a variety of coin packs and bundles aimed at different spending profiles.

Games like Rollic’s Car Sort, which feature a very similar sort puzzle core loop, have already scaled to $80K+ in daily IAP revenue. Does Loop Sort has what it takes to reach the same level?
