Bus Traffic Fever is a block puzzle game by Goodroid, released in February 2026, and it has scaled to over $120K in daily IAP revenue, according to AppMagic.

This is the publisher’s second hybrid puzzle game to reach the top charts, following Hexa Away, which peaked earlier this year.
Let’s take a look at the design behind this latest puzzler.
Proven Combinations
The game combines the looping conveyor belt design from Voodoo’s Beads Out with the bus puzzle concept from iKame Global’s Bus Out, bringing together a familiar puzzle concept with a satisfying visual loop. However, this also means the game inherits the relatively slow-paced loop of Beads Out, though players can touch the conveyor belt to slightly speed up the gameplay.
Deterministic Puzzles
Like many hybrid-casual puzzles, this game also uses deterministic puzzles, difficulty labels, and straightforward progression. However, the levels are designed to take considerably longer to complete, creating more opportunities for monetization throughout a session. The game also uses boosters, which become incredibly useful early on, and introduces new features and LiveOps to add more variety and engagement. Interestingly, the game doesn’t feature a lives system, as the friction around failure is driven more by the time players have already invested in a level than losing a life.
Hybrid Monetization
Despite using both IAA and IAP monetization models, this game puts a stronger emphasis on ads. From unlocking additional bench spaces to continuing after failure, players are given multiple opportunities to watch RV ads, which fits particularly well with the longer level design and the game’s core audience.
Boosters, however, are tied to soft currency, and their purchase screens also show additional offers with extra benefits, giving players the option to grab a higher-value deal rather than simply purchasing a booster. Additionally, on the IAP side, the game features ad removal offers, starter packs and various bundles, creating multiple entry points for different types of spenders.
